A Handy Paper Roll Holder - Project Nursery

I am not quite sure how this happened, but we are slowly getting ready to go back to school. The supplies have been bought, the backpacks have been sorted, and we are getting used to the idea of having a routine again. Goodbye wet bathing suits and green-colored chlorine hair. Now it’s time to get the house ready for this new season.

I always like to keep a roll of drawing paper handy. We use it for drawing, of course, as well as to-do lists or draft paper for math problems, etc. So I wanted to share a simple DIY project on how to store a paper roll.

MATERIALS: 24″ copper pipe with plugs, faux leather scraps, copper binder clips, and copper eyelets

STEP 1: Cut two leather strips measuring 1 inch by 10 inches approximately. Fold each strip in half and secure them with the paper clips. Note: if the paper roll is too bulky and heavy, replace the copper binder clips with eyelets to hold the weight.

STEP 2: Insert the copper pipe inside the loop so you can find the place for the eyelet. Pencil in a dot and remove the copper pipe. Then, punch a hole and insert the eyelet.
