Description
Lexi's nursery was designed by her mom and Noni. Noni handmade many projects within the nursery, including making the rag buntings, pom pom mobile and rosettes. She also hand painted the changing table/dresser and two book cases, to personalize this room just for our sweet Lexi. Using a variety of light pinks, corals, peaches, gold and naturals, this nursery boasts a loving, calm feeling.
Design Inspiration
We were inspired by a variety of different nurseries found online, but it came together better than ever expected.

Project Details
White Satin Joy Crib: Bratt Decor
Bedding: Found at Restoration Hardware. We used a mix of products, rather than what they suggested to use together, and love how it came out.
Bumper in Petal: RH Baby & Child
Crib Skirt in Petal: RH Baby & Child
Rocking Chair: Found at Hayneedle
Pouf: Target
Curtains: Altered by Sally from an original curtain panel from Pine Cone Hill
Lamp: HomeGoods
Changing Table: Our changing table/dresser was a bargain find at an Estate Sale. Lexi's Noni, Sally, is a master at Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, and used the Antoinette and Old White colors to chalk paint the old dresser, into this gem.
Changing Pad Cover: Cottage Bells on Etsy
Book Cases: Again, found at garage sales, and an old basement, Sally turned these into beautiful and practical pieces for Lexi's room.
Rag Buntings/ Pom Pom Mobile: Made by Sally
Scrapbook Paper Rosettes: Made by Sally
LEXI Letters: We used cardboard letters that were already made, and used Modpodge and scrapbook paper to create this look.
These photos were taken as part of a newborn photo shoot by Jocelyn Vassos, at Berkshire Lovebird Studios.
Favorite Items
Long rag bunting over crib, made by Sally.
Advice
Do not focus too much on matching everything in the room. The different shades of pinks, peaches, golds and neutrals gave it a natural look. It was fun to find different pieces, randomly and watch how they pulled together into the room. Don't be afraid to pick a few projects to try.. it is fun to see how they look when they are done!
