I wanted to make this portion of the playroom a little more masculine and the downstairs area more feminine in case we had a girl later down the road. The teepee and table/chairs are RH baby & child. The pillows are nordstroms. The art is etsy, petite collage, land of nod and oopsy daisy. The rug and archery garland is land of nod and one of my favorite pieces in the room. I’m really happy with how this room came out and my kids love reading books and playing in here.
We started with the large plane picture from Z Gallerie that was originally my husband’s and then built off of that. I like to invest in art that will grow with my children so that I’m not having to spend money later down the line to re do their rooms. The small airplanes above his bunk beds are Restoration Hardware Child & Baby. The bunk beds & bedding are also RH. The dresser & bookcase are Newport cottages. I’m planning on later getting bulletin boards, a desk chair and adding to his shelves throughout the years. Right now he is three so I try to keep it a safe space for him.
I loved the anthro wallpaper and pulled from those colors and vintage feel. The crib was previously my sons and we will later get her a white day bed. I always start with a piece of art or in this case piece of wallpaper in building my room decor. The furniture, rug, lamp, bedding and shelf is RH baby, glider from Doodles in Houston, and crib newport cottages. Several art prints I found on Etsy & the big LOVE & gold butterflies is PB teen. The chandelier was from Z gallerie and painted gold. I like to design rooms that will grow with my kids and I’m hoping Callie will be happy with her room for years.
