This is a colorful nursery for my second baby due January 17, 2016 (and currently still cooking!). Because my son is just two, we weren’t ready to give up all of his nursery furniture just yet. We kept things simple in this fresh space for the much anticipated addition to our family!
I’ve been in LOVE with the color bar ledges from The Land of Nod for as long as I can remember. But at $30 a pop, the total price to create the whole rainbow was little steep. So I took matters (and lumber!) into my own hands and made this fabulous hack for a fraction of the cost!

We turned our first floor “formal living room” into a fun entertainment room for our family of three.
I painted this chalkboard stripe dresser for my son’s room. I thought the stripes were cute for a nursery, but also functional since I can change out the chalk labels as I reorganize the drawers. Plus it makes it easy for my hubby to help with laundry :)
Just a cute little DIY project to keep me busy while waiting for baby’s arrival. I wanted to add some fall décor to the space while still staying within the color scheme. I decoupaged one of the pumpkins and the others I adorned with ribbon/rick rack.
I made this simple chandelier-inspired nursery mobile using cardstock, strips of ribbon and a hanging planter.
