I'm a single mom to a beautiful little girl named Bridget who fills my heart with so much joy.

Girly and Floral Big Girl Room

I couldn’t find any bedding that I loved enough for my daughters room. I didn’t want to paint and I wanted to keep her black furniture from her nursery, along with some wall hangings and lamps so I needed to find something that incorporated all those colors. I found one option but it was unavailable so I decided if I can’t find what I want, I’m just going to make it. B had this Matilda Jane Platinum top that I fell in love with and it dawned on me that I should try and use that as inspiration for her room. So using her top inspiration I decorated a floral and girly room for my daughter. I added a lot of little personal touches and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects. Scanning the aisles of Michael’s can sometimes be a dangerous thing ;)

Bridget’s Strawberry Shortcake Inspired Birthday Party

I wasn’t planning on doing a big party this year but I just couldn’t help myself. I picked the theme around Christmas and the timing was perfect. I was able to get Christmas clearance for 70% and since the colors for Strawberry Shortcake are red, green and pink, it worked perfectly. I bought lots of pinwheels in red and green and just added pink ones later one. Saved tons of money that way.

Pink and Gold Birthday Party Dessert Table

Bridget’s Pink and Gold 2nd Birthday Party

I wanted to do something sophisticated and girlie for my daughters 2nd birthday party, so I thought pink and gold would do the trick. I had so much fun thinking of creative ways to display her initial and add littgle details throughout her party.

Pink Ombre 1st Birthday Party

B’s Pink Ombre 1st Birthday

I created a pink ombre 1st birthday party for my daughter. It became a bit of a pink explosion with some aqua thrown in the mix.

Baby D’s Gender Neutral Nursery

We created a gender neutral nursery for our little one that was due at the end of May. I love the grey and yellow combination and decided last minute to add some pops of teal. I’m so happy I did.

We did not know what we were having but at the end of May we welcomed our beautiful baby girl. I updated the photos to add a photo of what the room looks like now with our little girls picture above the crib. We put her in an elephant hat so she would match the room.
