Description
Finn's parents wanted a modern nursery without your typical blues or greens. The result is a soft, contemporary space with a masculine edge.
Design Inspiration
Our little moustached friend The Bambak inspired many of the accessories in the room, including the moustache cushion that I customised for them myself. Finn has an older brother Jett and I wanted to create a space that they could all spend time in together. From the child's rocking chair in the corner for a designated reading space to the soft fluffy rug, the family will be able to relax and play together in the room.
Decorating Style
Modern with a coastal edge.

Favorite Items
I love the feature wall. I wanted to have a feature panel instead of doing the whole wall, I think the overall effect is a lot more impactful and really 'frames' the cot!
Advice
Think outside the box by using wallpaper or feature walls to add dimension to the room. This nursery is less than 9m squared so it shows that you don't have to have a huge room in order to get big results! Make etsy.com your best friend - you can get amazing handmade accessories for your room which add a personal touch.
