Description
When we renovated our home a few years ago, we never took into consideration kiddo #2. We set up a "mini-nursery" in our master bedroom, beside our bed, knowing we'd transition her into a bigger space when she turned 1.
Design Inspiration
We fell in love with a navy + coral combo when we saw Sharon Montrose's Fun Lux Nursery Project.
We knew we wanted a space she could grow into, so everything we put into it had to be transitional. The thing with me is.. I keep pretty ideas (and favorite businesses) stored in my head. When I set out to do something, it'll take me like 5 seconds to dream it up.
Decorating Style
The little details. We love starting with a blank canvas and then adding special little details and small pops of color. We wanted to have fun with her room.. to create something magical (but modern).

Favorite Items
I don't have a favorite item, but my favorite area is her reading nook. We want her to grow up with a love for reading. I didn't intend to put the floral tassel garland in her space, but when we did, her reading nook transformed! Like the Gwen Stefani quote we have in there, "you never know when it's gonna happen.. but when it does, it's like magic."
Advice
Accent wall. Neutral furniture. Pops of color. Little personal details.
