Description
A lavender (purple) and pistachio (green) color baby shower. The shower was hosted by the future grandmother and best friend of the mother-to-be, in honor of her first child. The 55+ guest were greeted at the door and asked to sign the guestbook plate. Guest then enjoyed several games which included name that candy bar game, how well do you know the mother-to-be and how big is the baby bump. The buffet style food menu included assorted fruit and vegetable trays, garden salad with Italian dressing, spaghetti with meat sauce, and garlic bread sticks. Guest was offered sweet tea, lemonade, Pepsi, Sprite, Diet Dr. Pepper and bottle water. Dessert consisted of red velvet cupcakes, vanilla cherry cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes. The guest left the baby shower with mini personalized favor boxes filled with kisses to remember the occasion. The personalized favor box said Thank You Hugs & Kisses from Baby Lilliana March 22,2012.

Advice
Start early on the planning process.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations to achieve a nice baby shower.
The Dollar Tree has a lot of great decorating items for baby showers or other party type events one may be planning.
Take advantage and use coupons from Michael’s, Hobby Lobby or any other craft store.
