Description
I am so excited to share my recent makeover project with the help of RH Baby & Child. This one is especially near and dear because it was for my four year old son, Chase! For the complete story, check out my #ProjectChase journey on the blog:
A special thanks goes to Carolyn Ann Ryan Photography, family photographer, based in New Jersey.
Decorating Style
I find my personal style gravitating towards Restoration Hardware. I've always been a fan of their children's line and wanted to infuse industrial chic with cabin cool for a little boy's room.

1. The pallet wall is certainly up there. It started with my desire to see what all the hype was about building a DIY pallet wall. Half way through the project I thought I was way in over my head while looking at all the lumbar. Once all was sanded and ready to assemble, this little labor of love for Chase was all worth it.
2. My son's new RH Baby & Child jersey bedding is so awesome. You wouldn't know it unless you saw it in person.
3. The game table was a genius suggestion from the design team at RH Baby & Child. It really adds a bit of extra creativity to the room.
Advice
Don't be afraid to play with the room layout. Sometimes you will be surprised as to what you can fit into a space. More furniture for example, if done right, can actually make the room look and feel larger.

Hi Holly, Honestly, the rug has held up really great! Its also a distressed look which I find perfect for kids rooms. This one is more of a denim color. Congrats on your baby boy! - Melisa

Hello!! I am in the market for the distressed wool RH rug (putting together nursery for baby boy due in March).
How has it held up for you? Also, is the rug pictured in Navy or Denim?
Thanks! Holly
