Description
A small home remodel required our girls to share a room. They wanted it bright, but I had to make sure it would be flexible because of their age differences, as well as allow them to grow in it.
Design Inspiration
A combination of circumstances: making a small home work for everyone, making it bright and happy per my girl's wishes, but to keep it timeless as well. The art is the most inspiring thing in the room. They drew the picture of the bees and flowers. My first degree was in oil painting before interior design, so I used that talent to hand-paint them on large canvases to match their room. The bee makes me smile every time I walk into the room.

Favorite Items
The paintings. They were drawings MY girl drew, so they are very special. No one else has those paintings, and it's a blessing for a home to be unique as well as beautiful.
Advice
Don't buy something just because it is "a good buy" or "on sale". Make sure it brings you joy and adds meaning to your home.
