Description
Our little boy's nursery was fun. We wanted to do something that was cozy and soothing. I think that the paint color helps the room achieve that. The antiques and bedding make the room masculine, but very comfortable.
Design Inspiration
We wanted to do a little boy's room that wasn't babyish. We looked at so many pictures of nurseries but kept coming back to the pictures in Restoration Hardware Kids. This was our take on what we liked. I think that we had 1940's exploration in the back of our minds the whole time we were looking for pieces that might fit. It was an era where impossible things became possible with hard work and determination. We thought that was a perfect mindset for our little guy.
Decorating Style
I think we are pretty traditional. We like antiques a lot and we are always searching for pieces that have character.
