Description
I wanted to design a room that would be perfect to grow with our baby boy, nothing too babyish but still very fun. I love the neutral, gray color scheme and adding in a pop of color with the accents (that could easily be changed out at a later time). There is still a lot more I want to incorporate into the room (a rug and more DIY decor projects), but with my due date fast approaching this will be an ever-evolving project!
Design Inspiration
I knew right away that I wanted a yellow and gray nursery, regardless of whether we had a boy or girl. Pinterest, Etsy, and Project Nursery were huge design inspirations for me, and I spent months picking elements from all over these sites that I wanted to incorporate. I have a new-found love of baby elephants, and it just seemed like a natural fit for the color scheme of the nursery.
Decorating Style
Modern, contemporary, and a bit of whimsy describe my decorating style for our son's nursery. I LOVE the board and batten and striped wall and what a bold, yet simple touch they bring to the room.

Favorite Items
I love everything about this room! My mother-in-law did such a great job with the bedding, and a huge shout out to my husband for the board and batten and stripes-- SO happy with how it all turned out! I also can't get enough of all the cutesy baby elephant decor items :)
Advice
Take your time. I pinned ideas/inspiration for months before actually starting the nursery. The whole process was definitely a labor of love, but so fun to see it all come together! Don't worry about being too matchy with the perfect shade of colors; there are many varieties of yellow and gray in our room and I think that works well. Finally, try not to fret if you don't get everything done before baby arrives. I've realized our nursery will be an on-going project and adding more to it in time is something I will look forward to even after his arrival. I constantly get sparked by new ideas, but I understand it all takes time and there are just not enough hours in the day (especially when you are physically and emotionally drained from pregnancy)!

Great room décor ! :)
I just wanted to ask you what size of wall decal did you have for the name above the crib?
I want to order the same one but I am not sure which size will work and yours seems to be the right one for me.
